Let me introduce myself.....
Hi, my name is Vicki Hart and for over 25 years I have worked as a skin professional helping people with their skin transformations. It has long been apparent that simply applying products to the skin topically wasn't enough. Even with the best products in the world, if you don't address the body internally, you are simply firefighting - waiting to see what is going to come through to the surface.
I subsequently trained in nutrition and have used the knowledge I have gained to make my consultations 360 degrees. I have now built on this to support wellness as a whole, achieving amazing results for my clients through Wellness Inc.
Why do a blood test?
For years we have taken supplements with no real knowledge that they're actually working or are any good. In fact there is more legislation around dog food than there is in the supplement industry! Now we can simply test. Our finger prick blood test can be done easily at home and will give you a real insight into your cellular health. This blood test is independently analysed at VITAS in Norway and comes with a full report of your fatty acid status, showing your Omega 6:3 ratio and your Omega 3 index. If you are already taking an omega 3, lets check that it's actually working properly.
Why is omega 3 so important?
As humans, we are meant to have an omega 3 index of 8% or higher for every organ in our bodies to function well. The reality is that most blood tests we have done, show an omega 3 index closer to 2%. At this point, most people would go to Google for the facts. This is a great start point.
Apart from your omega 3 index, we also test your omega 6:3 ratio. Put very simply, omega 6 is pro-inflammatory. We need it for accident or injury to bring our inflammatory response. But we also need about the same amount of omega 3 to calm our inflammatory response and this is where we are lacking. Diets rich in omega 6 mean that we have a lot of inflammation and very little in the way of calming that inflammation.
If it was this important, surely the GP would offer this test?
Sadly, with a few exceptions, the medical profession don't work on preventative health. They help once the problem has occurred. Get yourself tested today and see where your numbers fall.
